SAM is Simply About Music – that appeals to 25-54 adults who are burned out on the repetition of traditional formats. Much like the audience, SAM is not overly caught up with genres, styles, or outmoded rules about on-air presentation. SAM plays great songs – from ABBA to ZZ Top – and has a lot of good-natured fun in between. Unlike his similarly themed format cousins, SAM is simply more female friendly. He'd be the guy voted most likely to get a second date...even start a long-term relationship based on endless variety and lots of character and fun!
